Currently,
we share our home with four wonderful dogs, Harlo, Jetta, Kora, and
Jillie. I am blessed to co-own Izzie and Lyta with Cookie Desino and
Holly Waye, and Addielle and Kozak with my cousin Ana Doud. My future
website expansion plans include an individual page for each of our
outstanding Deerwood dogs and their outstanding owners.

Harlo
has always been my steady dog, my Steadfast Soldier....I haven't
always appreciated his steadiness, sometimes I wished that he was
faster and flashier yet his steadiness always brought home a
ribbon...always. His strong work ethic has proven to be invaluable as
I have learned that when the Fast and Flashy are done kickin' and the
dust has settled....there stands good old steady-eddy Harlo in the
ribbons. Harlo's forte has been tracking...the boy just LOVES to
track. He just puts his nose to the ground and he "gits-er-DONE!"
He is
constant in and out of the ring. His loyalty and faithfulness are
treasured. Happiness is boy named Harlo!

Jetta is
everything I have ever wanted, hoped for and prayed for in a dog. She
is the magnificent combination of all my wonderful dogs into one

attributes are many, her achievements are many, her talents are
many...but the one gift that I cherish and prize the most is her
great desire to please and her great desire to love. She was born to
be my heart dog and as usual she is doing an outstanding job of it!

KORA
KaBOOM! is a lovely girl with a powerfully sweet temperament. As her
name suggests...she does everything with a KaPOW! and a KaBANG!!...
from working to showing to loving and especially
clowning around! Kora is training for her obedience and agility
titles yet she has made it very clear that her first love is
tracking! When she puts her nose down it's KaBANG! and off she goes
in hot pursuit of all my "lost treasures".
Yep,
the first time I saw her pleasing, plush and gorgeous face...I knew
that she was our keeper and boy was I right!!!!

Kozak is
a very strong and a very handsome young dog. He and his young
co-owner, my cousin Ana Doud, are off to a brilliant start in their
Rally and Obedience career. It is so thrilling to watch this young
team work... not only because the teamwork is awesome but the loving
bond that they share ups the Awesome to SPECTACULAR!
We are
very excited about Kozak's upcoming breed ring debut and his bright

Addielle
joined our Deerwood family at almost 4 years old. She has become our
action packed little turbo pocket ROCKET! This little girlie will do
anything to work and anything to EAT! Her strong work ethic and
willingness to please has left no choice for my young cousin Ana but
to get out and work!!! Addielle puts her entire heart into everything
that she does, and she does it all with her trademark... that big
tongue hanging out the side of her mouth! Oh, Addielle even saw
fit to pass the big, hanging tongue trait on to her 5 Deerwood K
pups!! Just gotta love 'em!

Lyta is a young girl with oh, SO much promise!!! When Jetta gave us
her L Nino litter of 4 boys and 4 girls we were thrilled. We were
even more thrilled in having such a difficult time in choosing our
keeper out of the 4 highly intelligent, highly active and so darn
cute sisters.

has done an outstanding job of keeping us busy as well as happy!

No home
is complete without a special little pal like my Jillie!! Jillie came
to me at almost 5 years old . At first I was hesitant in taking her
as I was not sure how she would fit into my household of then...SIX
rottweilers. Well within ten minutes of Jillie meeting the
rottweilers , I knew..."that's this group would somehow
form a family, that's the way they became the DEERWOOD Bunch. "
